Report: Texas Tech G Kevin Overton plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal

Texas Tech guard Kevin Overton plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report from Tobias Bass of The Athletic. He spent just one season with the Red Raiders and will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Overton initially began his college career at Drake and this will be his second transfer in as many years. He appeared in 36 games with one start this past season to average 7.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
