Report: Kadarius Toney posts, deletes cryptic message after strangulation arrest

On Thursday, Kadarius Toney appeared to address his recent arrest in a cryptic Instagram post that has since been deleted. He wrote that people, “will believe anything” about him as “long as it’s bad.” TMZ Sports has pictures of the deleted Instagram story from Toney on their website.

Toney also noted on the photograph that “Mfs say anything when they think they right,” before deleting the post a few minutes later. The 26-year old wideout was arrested and put in jail on Feb. 6th following the allegations that he attacked his pregnant girlfriend on Jan. 14th at a house in Georgia.

He currently faces one charge of obstructing/harassing 911 calls, and one count of aggravated assault-strangulation over the claims. Even though Toney has yet to issue an official statement on the claims, the post on Thursday was the closest he’s come to doing so.

According to TMZ Sports, the National Football League is currently monitoring the legal case as it unfolds. Toney played for the Cleveland Browns this past season but is currently a free agent.
