Report: BJ Freeman no longer with Arizona State program

Arizona State senior BJ Freeman is no longer with the program, per The Arizona Republic. Freeman finishes his time with the Sun Devils this season averaging 13.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game while shooting 42.1% from the field and 35.6% from beyond the arc.
Freeman transferred from Milwaukee to Arizona State ahead of this season. Arizona State head coach Bobby Hurley suspended Freeman from playing against Oklahoma State on Feb. 9, after the veteran guard committed “conduct detrimental to the team.”
Arizona State will square off against Kansas State on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET without Freeman. The game will air live on ESPN+.
