Report: Ashton Jeanty sets visit with Dallas Cowboys ahead of 2025 NFL Draft

The Dallas Cowboys will get a closer look at Ashton Jeanty before this year’s NFL Draft. Per Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News, the former Boise State running back will visit the Cowboys on Friday, April 4.
Ashton Jeanty is very familiar with the Dallas area, playing high school football at Lone Star High School in Frisco Texas. In his senior season, Jeanty rushed for 1,843 yards and 41 touchdowns.
With that and the Cowboys needing a game-changing running back, there’s been talk about Jeanty playing for the team this fall. In January, On3 spoke to Jeanty about his chances of the Cowboys selecting him at No. 12 overall in the draft.
“I’m very confident and just that it’s the right fit,” Jeanty told On3. “So every team may not be the right fit, but I feel that the Cowboys would be a great fit in that they need a running back and a guy who’s been in that area, he’s around from there, that will just bring something special to the table. But who knows, it could go a different way. But I think I’m still pretty high on their board.”
We’ll have more on this story shortly.
