Recruiting Notebook: Kansas State making progress with transfer

Kansas State transfer pursuit
As we have shared multiple times already, Kansas State is in deep discussions with Samford guard transfer Ques Glover. It is his second time transferring, already having a two-year stint at Florida as well. But after committing to BYU, he had second thoughts and chose to re-open his recruitment.
In addition to K-State, Illinois and Indiana are also in line hoping to secure his services.
Although information has been difficult to acquire, our intel suggests that there is a lot of confidence on the side of the Wildcats. In fact, those not even connected to Kansas State expect Glover to play for Jerome Tang and company this season.
While the timing is the toughest part of a recruitment to predict, the fireworks could happen this week.
Boganowski update
Remember when we stated that the recruitment of Junction City standout Michael Boganowski could extend into the season? At this point, that seems like a certainty. Unlike Grant Brix, he isn’t necessarily winding his process down or in decision-making mode.
Boganowski is even in the process of arranging visits for the Fall. That is not the actions of someone that has determined where he is going to school. Furthermore, he won’t just be visiting K-State, Oklahoma and Kansas, either.
Florida State has hung around and a second trip to Tallahassee is on the table.

Mizzou commit flirting with K-State
Head coach Chris Klieman is no stranger to flipping prospects committed elsewhere since arriving at Kansas State, and the most recent example was in the last cycle when Andrew Metzger bolted the Colorado class and switched his allegiances to the Wildcats.
Until recently, no real opportunities to do so had surfaced. But KSO will keep their eyes on Missouri athlete commit Jude James. We say athlete because he is being identified as a tight end by the Tigers but as a linebacker by K-State.
Despite just recently committing to Eli Drinkwitz and his program at the end of June, James did choose to announce and post about his new offer from the Wildcats and his comments to us suggest someone that is at least listening to the Kansas State coaches.
From what we have gathered, the decision to enter the mix for James is not connected to the recruitment of Boganowski.
