Recruiting intel UC Report Camp in Kansas City

On3 attended the UC Report Camp in Kansas City put on by Under Armour and ESPN. Some talented prospects attended to compete in the tough conditions. Winds were constant and at times gusting to up to 40 mph, but players took the coaches, competed in drills and took part in some 1-on-1 competition.
Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons spent time with many of the top prospects there and here are 10 takeaways from this event.
Five-star Williams Nwaneri is still high on Oklahoma. He had an official visit to Georgia planned for June, but that is not likely. Other than Oklahoma, Missouri, Oregon and Tennessee are in line to receive official visits. He is not looking to take more than five unless he has to. The Sooners are, and have been, trending.
Four-star EDGE Marquise Lightfoot might have been the most impressive performer at this event. He has emerged as a national prospect and schools like Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Michigan and Ohio State are high on his list. He is not looking to make a decision any time soon, but the Hurricanes made a big move in the spring for this star in Chicago.
Michigan commit Andrew Sprague was limited due to shoulder surgery, but the four-star offensive tackle made it clear that he is locked in with the Wolverines.
Christopher Burgess is a 2025 four-star EDGE to know in Chicago. Notre Dame jumped on this one early and the Irish are in a good position. Expect his offer list to grow drastically this spring.
Aneyas Williams is locked in with Notre Dame. The four-star running back put on a show Sunday flashing ball skills and quickness. He will be back in South Bend this weekend for the spring game.
Jeremiah McClellan is taking the recruiting process slowly. He has not locked in any official visits, but spoke highly of LSU, Ohio State, Oregon and Tennessee. Those four and Georgia are five to keep an eye on.
It is no secret that Michigan is the team to beat for I’Marion Stewart. It has been that way for some time. He is not talking commitment timeline yet, but the Wolverines look like they will be tough to beat.
Isaiah McMorris is high on Nebraska, Oklahoma and Penn State. The playmaker out of Omaha may be trending toward the Sooners. This could come down to a battle between Matt Rhule and Brent Venables.
Christian Bentancur took in the Clemson spring game before flying into Kansas City late Saturday for this event. He showed why he is one of the best tight ends in the country. He is locked in with the Tigers.
Julian Marks is taking the process slowly. The 2025 defensive lineman visited Kansas State last week and he is eyeing a visit to Tennessee. He is high on the Vols early and he plans to get to Knoxville this summer.
