Quinn Clark got to see the offense Nebraska is planning to run while on his official visit

Nebraska legacy, Quinn Clark, is the son of former Husker I-Back Ken Clark who played high school ball at Omaha Bryan. Quinn was in Lincoln this weekend for his official visit to Nebraska after he picked up an offer from Matt Rhule during a summer camp about two weeks ago. The visit to Nebraska was the last trip that Clark was planning before his season.
“We got into Lincoln on Thursday night at about midnight,” Clark said. “I had breakfast on Friday, and I met all the guys. We met with the staff, took a facility tour, met with the academic people, and hung out with a lot of guys.
“I don’t even know who my player host was, but I hung around with Malachi Coleman, Billy Kemp, and Jeff Sims. Malachi told me he loves the staff and that they are supportive both on the field and off of it.”
Clark hung around three current players all weekend. He’s not even sure which of them was his host, but it was a great sign that Nebraska had their prized wide receiver commitment of the 2022 cycle showing him around.
“I don’t even remember meeting coach McGuire at the camp,” Clark said. “There were so many people and so many names. I feel like I have a great connection with him now, and Malachi really likes coach McGuire.”

The visit on Saturday had some more time with the staff and some time in the downtown area. There was also a meeting with all the offensive recruits to review the offense they plan to run.
“On Saturday, we talked to coach Rhule about scholarships and NIL. We had a meeting with playing management and player development. We also had lunch at HUDL. It’s a nice office.
“Later on Saturday, we had a full offense meeting where we went over the pro-style offense. I think that it’s dope. They were really preaching that they are trying to get us ready for the pros and help us stay there.”
This was the only official visit for Clark, so he admits it’s a little hard to rate. The visit still got a very high school based on the things he could experience this weekend.
“It was a “9”,” Clark said. “I had a lot of fun. This was my only official visit, so I can’t really compare it to anything else. The best part was hanging out with the guys.”
The dead period starts this week, and Clark said the visit to Nebraska was the last trip he had planned. He plans to get back home and focus on winning a state title this year.
“This was my last spot to see. I am going to get focused on my high school and my season this fall to go and win a state championship.”
