Princeton’s Xaivian Lee commits to transfer to Florida

Princeton’s Xaivian Lee has committed to transfer to Florida, On3’s Joe Tipton reports. That’s coming off a visit to the Gators down in Gainesville on April 15th.

Lee, who entered with a do-not-contact tag, was involved with several other top programs nationally. Among those reported connections during his recruitment in the portal were Duke, St. John’s, and Kentucky.

Lee has spent the past three seasons at Princeton. He has made 91 appearances in that time for the Tigers with 59 the last two years as their starting point guard. He has averaged 12.7 points (43.5% FG, 33.4% 3PT), 4.5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in that career, including 17 points (44.5% FG, 35.2% 3PT on 1.9 threes), 5.9 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1.1 steals per game as a starter. Lee has since been selected unanimously as First Team All-Ivy.

With that, Lee is among the best transfers, overall and at point guard, in the latest update to On3’s Industry Ranking of 2025’s Top Transfer Portal Players. He rates at No. 33 overall as the No. 7 PG.

Lee is now one of the first additions for Florida, the reigning and defending champions coming out of the 2025 NCAA Tournament. All they’ve had to this point are the expected departures from this season’s roster, namely in their backcourt with Walter Clayton Jr., Alijah Martin, and Will Richard.
