Pregame observations: Notre Dame football vs. Tennessee State

As the Fighting Irish get ready for their home opener against Tennessee State, BlueandGold.com will have live pregame updates from Notre Dame Stadium.

Here’s what’s happening before the Notre Dame home opener.

• 1:23 p.m.: In dress shirts and jackets, a couple dozen or so Notre Dame players circled up at the midfield logo before dispersing. The only players in warmup gear are the quarterbacks, who look like they’re about to run through warmup throws with QBs coach Gino Guidugli.

• 1:33 p.m.: After chatting with Guidugli, the QBs jogged back to the locker room.
