PORTAL UPDATE: Michigan State lands former Valdosta State WR Rodney Bullard

Michigan State has received some surprise portal news this afternoon, adding transfer portal wide receiver Rodney Bullard of Valdosta State. He announced his decision via social media.

Bullard (6-0, 170) is a native of Albany (GA). He joins the Spartans with two years of eligibility remaining.

The receiver caught 42 passes for 1,001 yards and 13 touchdowns in 14 games in 2024. He logged 44 receptions for 566 yards and seven touchdowns, playing in all 14 games for Valdosta State in 2023 as a redshirt freshman.

Bullard also has experience on special teams, logging 433 kick return yards on 17 attempts, including a 99 yard touchdown. He has scored 20 total touchdowns in 28 games played during his time with Valdosta State.
