Oregon held its annual spring game Saturday at Autzen Stadium in Eugene in front of a crowd of 45,000.
“That’s what makes Oregon, Oregon,” Ducks’ coach Dan Lanning said during his postgame interview. “Our experience on the west coast is unlike any other, and it’s an event for the entire day. It certainly helps us when it comes to having great players on campus. But I think they got a sense of what the gameday environment is like at Autzen.”
Quarterback Bo Nix helped lead the “Green Team” to a 23-20 victory over the Ty Thompson-led “Yellow Team” during the scrimmage. Receivers Kris Hutson and Tez Johnson both hauled in long catches for the yellow team.
