Penn State locks in official visit with New Jersey WR Quincy Porter

Penn State locks in official visit with New Jersey WR Quincy Porter

Penn State will host New Jersey wide receiver Quincy Porter for an official visit in just over a week from now, May 31 to June 2. One of the region’s most coveted prospects, Porter is ranked No. 31 in the nation and fifth overall at wide receiver for the 2025 class. For a team that needs immediate help at wide receiver, you won’t find many better than the 6-foot-3, 190-pound Bergen Catholic athlete.

With Porter now confirming that the Nittany Lions will receive an official visit, it appears that all four weekends in June are now set. After Penn State receives his first official visit, Porter is expected to go to Ohio State the following weekend, June 7-9. He’ll then go to Michigan (June 14-16) and Oklahoma (June 21-23). Porter also just recently took an unofficial visit to Alabama on May 18 and went to Texas A&M in April. All six of those schools were named to his top six earlier this month.

Last season, Porter totaled 48 receptions for 1,066 yards receiving and 16 touchdowns. He’s now the fourth uncommitted wide receiver that’s expected to visit Penn State next weekend and the 11th receiver total to lock in an official visit with the Lions. PSU will also host four-star prospects Lex Cyrus, Andrew Marsh and Corey Simms that first weekend. That second weekend, June 7-9, also features three notable targets in Phillip Bell, Jeff Exinor and Matthew Outten.
