Payton Sandfort talks senior day loss to Michigan State

For at least twenty minutes, it looked like Payton Sandfort and the Iowa Hawkeyes were potentially going to pull off one of the bigger upsets of the Big Ten season. Then in the middle portion of the second half, Michigan State went on a pair of massive runs and pulled away for a 91-84 victory.

Following the game, Sandfort brought a little humor to the post game press conference showing how his jersey was ripped in the game by an opposing player defending him and he was always showing off several scrapes on his shooting arm from the game. Sandfort talked about what changed from the first half to the second and the play of his younger brother, Pryce, who gave Iowa a spark off the bench.
