On300 WR Malik Clark down to three schools and will commit this month
Rock Hill (SC) High On300 receiver Malik Clark says he will announce his college decision sometime this month.
The four-star Clark added he’s down to Florida State, South Carolina and North Carolina.
“Talk with my family, mom and brother and once I weigh all the pros and cons then I’ll make my choice and pray that my decision will be the best for me,” Clark said.
Tabbed by the On3 Industry as the No. 2 recruit in South Carolina, No. 24 receiver in the country and No. 209 prospect overall, the 6-foot-2 1/2, 180-pound Clark talked about what he was looking for in a school.
“Family feel , development, getting a chance to compete,” he said.
The touted pass catcher elaborated on each finalist.
Regarding the Seminoles: “Let’s be honest they are FSU and had a great season last year. Coach Norvell is the truth.”
Regarding the Gamecocks: “USC is home. Hour down the road from me. Love the game-day environment and Coach (Mike) Furrey is a great guy and coach as well.”
Regarding the Tar Heels: “UNC made it known I’m a top priority. Coach Galloway and I have a great (connection) and also with my family. Love the guys on team and the ones coming in from Jordan Shipp to Bryce Baker.”
As a junior Clark caught 35 passes for 679 yards and seven touchdowns.
Florida State has On3’s No. 10 ranked recruiting class. South Carolina and North Carolina are looking to push into the Top 25 sitting at No. 26 and No. 29 respectively.
