On300 QB Jonas Williams knows where he’s going and will announce this weekend

Frankfort (Ill.) Lincoln-Way East On300 quarterback Jonas Williams will commit on Aug. 3 he confirmed. On3’s Hayes Fawcett was first to report.

The finalists are Alabama, LSU, Oregon and Ohio State. He took visits to Baton Rouge and Eugene last week.

“He made a decision,” his father John said.

“The old saying, there is a lot of factors. A couple weeks ago he did a decision tree. I told him he should do pros and cons of all the schools. thats how he came down to his finals.

“There is one school that won. He wanted to confirm it again. He talked about and said this is where he wants to go. And I think they liked him the most and showed them the most interest as well.

“He knows where he’s going.”

The 6-foot-1, 1/2, 200-pound Williams is tabbed by the On3 Industry as the nation’s No. 9 quarterback and No. 89 prospect overall.

“It’s the decision he feels best for him.”
