On300 CB Jaboree Antoine soaks up Alabama visit, talks early contenders

BRADENTON, Fla. — Jaboree Antoine is just getting to dive head-first into his recruitment this summer.
Antoine, the No. 23 player in the On300 for the 2025 recruiting cycle out of New Iberia (La.) Westgate, made his way to Alabama earlier this month for the first time. One of the best in The Boot worked out with Travaris Robinson and received firsthand instruction via Nick Saban.
After the visit, the Crimson Tide established themselves as contenders with the elite junior DB.
“It was great being able to be there,” Antoine told On3. “It was a great experience meeting Coach Saban. He’s a great coach. It was a great atmosphere. Everything was great and it was great to be around him, to talk to him like that and I was glad to be out there.”
Antoine’s time on the field with the Alabama coaches left a strong impression.
“I like the standard they have for you. They push you to be great,” he said. “I liked the coaching staff. They liked my footwork, so I was surprised by that. Alabama is a great place and they’ve had some great players come from there. I loved the visit to ‘Bama.”
Michigan’s Ron Bellamy put an offer on the table for the Louisiana DB this spring. Antoine called the scholarship from the Wolverines a “dream” offer.
“Michigan is my dream school,” the On300 defender started. “It’s been a dream school for me. Coach Bellamy wants me up there and it’s been a dream of mine to get there since I was young. They were one of the first teams I watched and one of the first schools sponsored by Jordans. They have a great program.”
Antoine was penciled in to be on the Forty Acres during the Longhorns’ Texas-sized recruiting weekend earlier this month. He’s a top target for Terry Joseph and keeping close tabs on his former Westgate teammate Derek Williams.
“Derek’s doing great right now, thriving and he’s gonna keep working,” Antoine said. “Seeing Derek over there make plays, either way, it’s great to do it over there.”
Antoine is expected to get to Baton Rouge before the summer comes to an end.
Multiple members of the LSU staff have kept in contact with the elite cornerback, who says he “definitely” aims to visit soon.
“LSU is a great place and I love the opportunity to represent my home state,” said Antoine. “They want me to stay as close to home as possible. They think I’m a great athlete, they like my play style and how I’m physical and move to the ball.”
