Ole Miss offers uber-talented 2026 running back Tyriq Green
2026 Kell (Ga.) running back Tyriq Green has already received notable offers from the likes of Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, Louisville, Missouri and South Carolina, among others. And on Thursday, the sophomore prospect added an offer from Ole Miss.
Coordinator of recruiting strategy Kelvin Bolden and offensive analyst Enrique Davis extended the offer to the 5-foot-11, 190 pound recruit. Green is already receiving a considerable amount of interest from high major programs. This summer he received the big one from the defending national champs. He talked with On3’s Jeremy Johnson about this one in particular.
“It means a lot because I can finally show the work that I’ve been putting in,” Green said. “That offer means a lot because they’re noticing the work that I’ve been putting in. I got invited to camp.”
Tyriq Green is already making an impact on both sides of the ball.
In 15 games, the Marietta, Ga., prospect has amassed 428 rushing yards and six touchdowns. Defensively, he has 38 total tackles and two interceptions. Kell and Green have rebounded since losing in its opening game in 2023 with back-to-back wins over Allatoona and Pope.
Ole Miss is an awfully enticing option for a running back now.
Quinshon Judkins was named a Consensus All-American as a freshman a year ago after running for 1,567 yards and scoring 16 touchdowns. In the 2023 cycle, Ole Miss signed On3 Industry Ranking four-star Kedrick Reescano and nabbed Oregon State transfer Jam Griffin via the portal. The run game is part of an offense which is second only to Ohio State in yards per game since 2020.
