Ole Miss, Kevin Smith offer 2025 four-star athlete Jamarion Morrow

Germantown (Tenn.) athlete Jamarion Morrow has seen his recruitment blow up after a big sophomore season. The 5-foot-9, 180 pound prospect had 554 receiving yards and nine total touchdowns last season for the 11-3 Red Devils and now he is seeing things pick up. And on Friday, Ole Miss running backs coach Kevin Smith extended an offer.
Tennessee, Oregon, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Maryland, TCU, Colorado, Mississippi State, Louisville, Indiana, Missouri and Purdue, among others, have also extended an offer.
Morrow is the 68th overall prospect in the 2025 class, per On3’s Industry Ranking. He is ranked as the 5th athlete in the cycle and is the 3rd-ranked recruit in the state of Tennessee.
The Commercial Appeal’s Wynston Wilcox spoke with Germantown head coach Gene Robinson about Morrow and his breakout campaign.
“He’s going to cement why he got those offers just by being him and continuing to work hard and perfect his craft,” Robinson said. “The thing I like about the open period is coaches can come in and see the workouts and see him move around.
“They aren’t just calling and throwing nothing around, they’re actually putting their eyes on him.”

Kevin Smith’s return to Ole Miss should be a good one. All-American Quinshon Judkins is back and the position is as enticing as ever for recruits.
The reigning SEC rushing title champ spearheads a powerful rushing attack alongside Ulysses Bentley. Last year, Bentley fought through injuries but he is back to full-strength and looks to be the lightning to Judkins’ thunder in 2023.
Morrow is similar to Bentley in his game. The shifty, versatile prospect from Tennessee is a handful in the openfield and deceptively powerful between the tackles.
Morrow’s father, Jarrett Morrow, played collegiately at Tennessee State. The son of a former college athlete is aiming to follow in his footsteps.
News Channel 3’s Samaria Terry spoke with the four-star prospect about his relationship with his dad and future plans for where he fits on the football field.
“My dad has been pushing me since I was born to to be the hardest working player on the team. No matter how far you are on the bench or how high you are on the team.”
He tells Terry he thinks his best fit is at wide receiver, but it’s quite telling Smith was who submitted the offer. Lane Kiffin loves versatile playmakers. In year one at Ole Miss he had Elijah Moore. In year two he had players like Dontario Drummond and Braylon Sanders. And last season he had Zach Evans.
Could Jamarion Morrow be next?
