Ole Miss football recruiting 2025 hot board v1: Fall Camp Edition
Official offers have been handed out this week from Ole Miss. The recruiting dead period is back on through the entire month and despite fall camp getting underway, Lane Kiffin and Co., are still on the trail. Here at OMSpirit, we have updated the top targets list with our hot board v1.
Let’s take a look, position-by-position, at who the notable names the Rebels are trying to add to the 2025 class.

QUARTERBACK
4-star Deuce Knight (Notre Dame commit)
It remains Deuce Knight and Deuce Knight only for Ole Miss in 2025. Recently, he and his parents took a trip to Ole Miss to meet with Kiffin and Co. Auburn is also in the mix. And it’s becoming more and more likely for him to end up in the SEC.

RUNNING BACK
4-star Shekai Mills-Knight
Ole Miss is the heavy favorite for the Baylor School (Tenn.) product with a decision coming any day now. Alabama, Auburn, Miami, Michigan and Tennessee all had chances, but it looks like the Rebels will win this one.
4-star Akylin Dear
A one time Ole Miss commit, Dear abruptly decommitted at the end of June. Most think it’s Alabama (for now) but he has remained undecided. Ole Miss is going to remain in the game until it’s not in the game. He has ties to most everyone on staff in Oxford, dating back to 9th grade. He is a huge fan of Kalen DeBoer, but leaving home is one thing holding this one up, in my opinion.
4-star Ousmane Kromah
The Lee County (Ga.) star has burst onto the scene and into the On300. Last season, Kromah was named region player of the year after rushing for 1,783 yards, 20 touchdowns, and snagging 31 receptions for 522 more yards with nine more touchdowns. Ole Miss extended an official offer this week, which might come as a surprise to most. But, this is one to keep an eye on. Especially if things go south with Dear.
4-star Jamarion Morrow (Missouri commit)
Ole Miss has been adamant about taking more than one running back in this class. And Morrow is one the Rebels would love to add alongside one or two more. His commitment stunned just about everyone because of his affinity for proximity to home. But, kudos to Eli Drinkwitz and the Tigers for getting it done early. Nevertheless, Ole Miss will chase him until national signing day.

OFFENSIVE LINE
4-star Mario Nash (Mississippi State commit)
Nash grabbed a spot in Jeff Lebby’s first class, but Ole Miss will maintain contact throughout the cycle. Kiffin and Co., are going to stick with Nash and try to chip away at his Mississippi State commitment. Nash has a great relationship with the staff and could potentially be swayed with an Ole Miss CFP run.

WIDE RECEIVER
4-star Winston Watkins Jr.
Ole Miss has been a quiet favorite for Watkins for the better part of three months now. After previously committing to Texas A&M and Colorado, the blue chip wideout has maintained he will take his time and wait until national signing day. But, for now, the Rebels are in the lead.
3-star Dejerrian Miller
Miller is another wide receiver prospect who is taking his time. Kansas State, Kentucky and Tennessee are the other potential landing spots for Miller. He officially visited Ole Miss in June and will most likely take some trips in the fall to see some games.
LINEBACKER
4-star Tyler Lockhart
The in-state prospect decommitted from Auburn in June and Mississippi State is coming on strong. Pete Golding has been keeping tabs on the 6-foot-2, 205 pound prospect and Ole Miss could make a run if he continues to be undecided heading into his senior season. Sources say Lockhart is going to keep a close eye on how seasons go for potential SEC suitors this year.
3-star Austin Howard
Howard flipped from Vanderbilt to Mississippi State late June. Ole Miss extended an offer and Howard visited Oxford prior to the switch. Golding will continue to plug away here as the Bartlett (Tenn.) prospect has a ready-made SEC frame and should thrive for one of the better programs in 6A ball just up the road from Ole Miss’ campus.
CORNERBACK
4-star Donovan Starr
Ole Miss has had a ton of success in the Nashville area and Starr is another prospect Ole Miss has pegged to keep an eye on. Auburn has recruited well this cycle, but the Rebels are going to keep at it here. Due to the portal, Kiffin is never going to press in the high school ranks, but the official visit was extended for a reason.
3-star Dante Core
Another Auburn pledge, Core officially visited Ole Miss prior to his commitment. He had glowing reviews for what the Ole Miss program offers and could still take a visit in the fall. If he does, things could certainly get interesting.

SAFETY
4-star Ladarian Clardy
All signs point to Oxford here. I’ve entered my RPM pick for Ole Miss as has On3’s recruiting czars Chad Simmons and Steve Wiltfong. Clardy’s family was a big fan of the tight-knit community inside Kiffin’s program. This alongside his relationship with the defensive staff seems to be what separates Ole Miss from Florida State and Washington.
