Oklahoma starters Branson Hickman, Jalil Farooq leave season opener with injuries
In the first quarter of Oklahoma‘s season-opening showdown against Temple, offensive lineman Branson Hickman went down with an injury. He walked off the field on his own power but redshirt freshman Joshua Bates finished the drive in Hickman’s place.
Only moments later, wide receiver Jalil Farooq also headed to the sideline with an injury. The broadcast has not provided further information on the two Sooners.
