Ohio State Camp Preview: June 13
COLUMBUS – Official visits are not the only important recruiting events at Ohio State in the summer. The coaching staff also places a premium on getting to see prospects work out on campus at their one-day summer camps and as a result, they host several every summer.
Today, Thursday, June 13, is the first one-day camp of the summer for Ohio State and Lettermen Row will be at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center to take in all the action. Here is a preview of some of the notable prospects that are expected to work at Ohio State later today.
2025
Three-star Cleveland (Ohio) Gilmour Academy tight end Brody Lennon is expected to camp with the Buckeyes on Thursday. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Ohioan is the No. 598 overall prospect and the No. 31 tight end in the On3 Industry Rankings. He’s working to land an offer from Ohio State.
2026 Offense
+ Four-star Fort Lauderdale (Fla) Chaminade-Madonna running back Derrek Cooper will camp. He’s the No. 17 overall prospect and the No. 2 athlete per On3. Cooper was committed to Georgia but quickly backed off his pledge earlier this week.
+ Four-star Marietta (Ga) Kell running back Tyriq Green will camp at Ohio State. The Peach State native is the No. 164 overall prospect and the No. 12 athlete per On3.
+ Four-star Leesburg (Va) Loudon County interior offensive lineman Carter Scruggs will camp with Justin Frye on Thursday. Scruggs is the No. 126 overall prospect and the No. 8 interior offensive lineman per On3.
+ Four-star Mansfield (Texas) Lake Ridge offensive tackle Felix Ojo announced on X that he will camp at Ohio State. He is the No. 262 overall prospect and the No. 21 offensive tackle in the On3 Industry Rankings.
2026 Defense
+ Four-star Rolesville (N.C.) EDGE Zavion Griffin-Hayes is looking forward to camping with defensive line coach Larry Johnson. Griffin-Hayes is the No. 78 overall prospect and the No. 7 EDGE per On3.
+ Four-star Temple (Texas) EDGE Jamarion Carlton announced his Ohio State offer Wednesday night, but will still camp with the Buckeyes on Thursday. Carlton is the No. 36 overall prospect and the No. 5 EDGE per On3.
+ Four-star Strongsville (Ohio) Storm Miller is looking to earn his Ohio State offer on Thursday. The Ohio native is the No. 186 overall prospect and the No. 18 linebacker per On3.
+ Four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville linebacker Cincere Johnson is also working to earn his Ohio State offer. He is the No. 88 overall prospect and the No. 9 linebacker per On3.
+ Four-star West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West linebacker Cam Thomas is another in-state prospect hoping to earn an offer from the Buckeyes. Thomas is the No. 209 overall prospect and the No. 15 ATH per the On3 Industry Rankings
+ Four-star Richmond (Va) Heritage safety Andre Clark will make the trek to Ohio State on Thursday. He is the No. 162 overall prospect and the No. 15 safety per the On3 Industry Rankings.
+ Four-star Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban cornerback Elbert Hill will camp with the Buckeyes once again. Hill is the No. 1 prospect on the board for Tim Walton. The 2026 Ohioan is the No. 13 overall prospect and the No. 1 cornerback per On3.
+ Four-star Rabun Gap (Ga) Nacoochee safety Walker Bryson is making the trip to Ohio State on Thursday. He is the No. 207 overall prospect and the No. 17 safety per On3.
+ Four-star Milton (Fla) safety Kaiden Hall will camp with the Buckeyes. He is the No. 27 overall prospect and the No. 3 safety per On3.
+ Four-star Upper Marlboro (Md) St. Frances Academy safety Jireh Edwards returns to Ohio State to camp. He is the No. 59 overall prospect and the No. 6 safety in the On3 Industry Rankings.
