Of course it’s T-Shirt Night (or rather, Game Show Night) at Georgia

Of course it’s T-Shirt Night (or rather, Game Show Night) at Georgia

Tonight is Kentucky’s first SEC road game, meaning all 12 Wildcats are about to find out what it’s like when Kentucky comes to town in the Southeastern Conference. Georgia is responding in kind.

The Bulldogs are holding “Game Show Night” at Stegeman Coliseum, with the first 750 students receiving a free red Game Show Night t-shirt. Not only that, all UGA students can get into the game for free. If you’re not a UGA student, there are still some tickets available, ranging from $37-$48. What a steal!

This may be Kentucky’s first SEC road game, but the Cats have faced a true road environment once already this season, at Clemson on Dec. 3. Of course, Kentucky lost that game 70-66, prompting Clemson fans to storm the court. There are no off nights in the SEC, so the Cats need to bring their A-game to avoid a repeat result. They have another road game this weekend, at No. 14 Mississippi State.

Kentucky’s first game on Georgia’s new court

Stegeman Coliseum may look a little different when you turn your TV on tonight. Georgia installed a new court before the season, which features a large Bulldog behind the classic black and red “G” logo at midcourt. It’s pretty sharp-looking.

On TV, the court comes off as gray, so do not adjust your television.

Georgia is 9-0 at home this season and has won 11 straight at Stegeman going back to last season. Both of the Bulldogs’ losses have come on the road, vs. Marquette in the Bahamas and at No. 23 Ole Miss this past Saturday. Kentucky will be their biggest test in Stegeman yet.
