Notre Dame sits high with four-star WR JonAnthony Hall following official visit

Fishers (Ind.) High On300 receiver JonAnthony Hall was recently offered by Notre Dame and the four-star playmaker made it over to South Bend this week for his official visit.

Head coach Marcus Freeman and the Irish program continue to quickly making an impression.

“It went well!” Hall told On3. “What excites me is the culture and bringing in guys familiar with working with Coach Freeman, along with the addition the their new multi-million dollar facility that they’ll have done by 2026. I’ve seen the plans for the building and it’s going to look amazing when it’s done.”

Notre Dame is battling Purdue, Stanford, Northwestern and Indiana for 6-foot-1, 170-pound Hall.

The Irish program has a lot of things Hall is looking for

“The education they provide while being close to home is something that is unique from my situation versus living in a different state,” Hall said. “Especially because something I noticed was there wasn’t very many Indiana guys at Notre Dame, many came from all over.

“What stands out about the football team is their continued success that they’ve had on such a big stage, and they’re pretty senior heavy as well so there will be room to compete and move up the depth chart as well.”

Hall has already taken officials to Northwestern and Stanford and has Purdue and Indiana the next two weekends.

“They definitely sit high,” Hall of said of Notre Dame. “A lot of places have different things to offer in their own way so once I’m done traveling and things like that I’ll weigh out the pros and cons and move from there.”

The stats and rankings

As a junior Hall turned 69 receptions into 1,055 yards and six touchdowns against the state’s top competition. In basketball he helped lead his team to a state championship in the largest classification, averaging 11.2 points (second on the team), four rebounds (second on the team) and three assists per game.

Hall ranks as On3’s No. 41 receiver and No. 293 prospect overall.

Notre Dame has On3’s No. 7 ranked recruiting class and Hall is one of the top remaining targets for Freeman and his staff.
