Notre Dame football announces kickoff time, TV information for Georgia Tech game

Nine days from now, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta for a game against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Now they know when that game on Oct. 19 will kick off.
Notre Dame’s first-ever game at the venue that opened in 2017 will get going at 3:30 pm. ET p.m. ET. The game will be televised on ESPN.
Notre Dame and Georgia Tech have played 37 previous times. The Irish own an all-time record of 30-6-1 in the series. The Irish beat the Yellow Jackets 55-0 on Nov. 20, 2021 in the last game between the two programs. It was the only shutout for the Notre Dame defense in now-head coach Marcus Freeman‘s only year seas ND’s defensive coordinator.
Georgia Tech started its 2024 season with a Week 0 victory over Florida State in Dublin, Ireland. Since then, the Seminoles have stumbled to a 1-5 record.
