Inside Texas made a stop by Fort Worth North Crowley to talk with 2025 prospects Jonathan Cunningham and Henry Fenuku plus 2026 blue-chipper John Turntine for the latest in their recruitment. New details on visit plans, their communication level with the coaches, and more from that trip.
John Turntine, OL – 2026
One of the best prospects in the nation regardless of class, Turntine was on the field for one of North Crowley’s final spring practices. A number of coaches were at NCHS, including Michigan. The Wolverines issued Turntine an offer earlier today.
Despite the attention from the coaches there, Turntine didn’t feel pressured at all. He blocks it all out and focuses on his technique.
As far as his relationship with Texas goes, Turntine will be in Austin for the Big Man Camp on June 8th to work with Steve Sarkisian and Kyle Flood.
Turntine spoke about Texas with IT.
“It’s pretty early with all the relationships, but it’s going good,” Turntine said. “I’m going out there definitely and visiting for June (8th) for one of their camps. I’ll get to spend the day with the coaching staff and Coach Flood after the camp ends. It’s still early. I’m just looking forward to building it.”
Turntine is ranked as the No. 27 overall prospect, the No. 4 offensive tackle, and the No. 1 player in Texas according to the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking.
On3 ranks Turntine as the No. 8 overall prospect, the No. 3 offensive tackle, and the No. 1 player in Texas.
Jonathan Cunningham, LB – 2025
Cunningham just released his top seven of Arizona State, Kansas, TCU, Texas, Oklahoma State, Utah, and Missouri. Longhorns linebackers coach Johnny Nansen is a big reason why the Horns remain in this battle.
What will Cunningham look at most when deciding?
“Relationships mostly, where I can see myself playing at the highest level, and where I can be developed outside of football,” he said.
Cunningham is scheduled to officially visit Texas on June 14. He maintains regular communication with Nansen and Pete Kwiatkowski, including the two calling Cunningham last night. The Texas duo teaches Cunningham something new every time they call the prospect they see as a Sam in the Longhorns defense.
What will the determining factor be in his decision?
“Wherever my heart takes me after I go feel the vibe and atmosphere at these places,” Cunningham said.
Cunningham is ranked as the No. 350 overall prospect, the No. 40 linebacker, and the No. 58 player in Texas in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking.
On3 ranks Cunningham as the No. 42 linebacker and the No. 75 player in Texas.
Henry Fenuku, OL – 2025
Fenuku talked about spring ball and things he improved on. He’s ready for the regular season to come around.
Fenuku mentioned he loves competition and getting better playing against some of the best guys on his own team. He feels they make him a better player, and he wants to go to school where he can be challenged as well.
Fenuku told IT he plans on visiting Texas at one of the camps this summer and getting some good work in one on one with Flood. Those two still talk regularly. Fenuku plans on taking all his trips and then narrowing down his choices from there.
He’s ranked as the No. 360 overall prospect, the No. 29 interior offensive lineman, and the No. 59 player in Texas in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking.
On3 ranks him as the No. 24 interior offensive lineman and the No. 68 prospect in Texas.
