North Florida transfer guard Jasai Miles commits to Indiana

North Florida transfer guard Jasai Miles is taking his talents to Indiana, On3 has learned. He’s joining the Hoosiers after averaging 15.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while starting all 32 games last season.

Overall, Miles was efficient for the Ospreys during the 2024-25 season. He recorded an effective field goal percentage of 52.2% and a true shooting percentage of 53.9% a season ago.

Miles posted double-figures in all but three games this past season. His best performance of the season came in early December in a conference road game against Georgia Southern. Miles poured in 30 points, his only 30-point performance of the season, grabbed 11 rebounds and went 6-of-12 from distance.

Over the course of his two seasons at North Florida, Miles appeared in 64 games, starting 51 of them. He holds career averages of 10.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game on 41.6% shooting from the floor and 32.5% from 3-point range. Miles has two years of eligibility remaining.

More on the Indiana Hoosiers, NCAA Transfer Portal

Moreover, Jasai Miles’ commitment comes after Indiana landed one of the most prolific transfers in the NCAA transfer portal, as well. Sam Houston State‘s Lamar Wilkerson has decided to join the Hoosiers, according to On3’s Joe Tipton.

Wilkerson is coming off a season in which he averaged 20.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. He absolutely lit it up in his third season with the Bearkats.

A 6-foot-5, 205-pound guard, Lamar Wilkerson has excellent size and is a very well-rounded player. That is evident in his stats.

In addition to his scoring totals, Wilkerson also averaged 2.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.3 blocks per game. He could fill up the stat sheet on any given night.

He did so in a win at Western Kentucky in mid-February, when he nearly turned in a triple-double. In that game, Lamar Wilkerson scored 14 points, grabbed 10 boards and logged seven assists. It was his only double-double of the season, though he’s certainly capable of producing more.

But Wilkerson is definitely a scorer. He finished the season with five straight performances in which he topped 20 points.

In total, Lamar Wilkerson scored more than 20 points 17 times during the 2024-25 campaign. He’ll be able to provide some instant scoring punch to the Indiana lineup.

Prior to enrolling at Sam Houston State, Lamar Wilkerson was ranked as a four-star prospect in the On3 Industry Rankings. He carried grades of 92 from On3 and 94 from 247Sports, though he was not ranked by Rivals or ESPN.
