In tonight’s Nightly Recruiting Briefing we will discuss the latest Michigan State visitor news. We will also discuss other Spartan social media.
New 2024 quarterback offer
Michigan State has begun to expand their quarterback board in the 2024 class as Jake Merklinger committed to Tennessee on March 30. The Spartans offered a class of 2024 quarterback, in Luke Moga of Phoenix (AZ) Sunnyslope on March 31. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound gunslinger holds offers from Oregon, Miami (FL), TCU, and more. He visited Miami on March 25. The QB will visit Oklahoma (April 6), TCU (April 7), and Oregon (April 22).
Moga is ranked a three-star, the No. 569 overall recruit, the No. 31 quarterback, and the No. 11 recruit in Arizona by the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings.
Four-star California WR visiting for spring game
Michigan State offered Garden Grove (CA) Warren High School four-star wide receiver Jordan Ross in July 2022. The 6-foot, 175-pound receiver picked up his first offer from Notre Dame in May 2021, with Penn State, Washington, Auburn, Colorado, and others joining the race.
Ross is planning two possible visits to East Lansing, the first coming in April for the spring game.
“I have actually recently talked to (Michigan State),” Ross told SpartanMag.com. “I talked to them yesterday and will visit on April 15 and also maybe do a camp there.”
Ross is ranked a four-star, the No. 171 overall recruit, the No. 31 wide receiver, and the No. 18 recruit in California by the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings.

Dennis grew up playing youth hockey in East Lansing and even has members of his own family who have owned Spartan football season tickets.
Dennis is ranked a three-star, the No. 662 overall recruit, the No. 45 offensive tackle, and the No. 12 recruit in Michigan by the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings.
