NFL fines AJ Brown, not Marshon Lattimore, for NFC Championship fight

One of the many battles to take place inside Sunday’s NFC Championship game was AJ Brown vs. Marshon Lattimore. The Philadelphia wide receiver and Washington cornerback got into a scuffle, a play where a flag was thrown on Lattimore. He was called for unnecessary roughness despite Brown pulling off Lattimore’s face mask.
Nearly a week later, the NFL completed its review of the play. It’s Brown who has been fined by the league, not Lattimore. The Eagles star will have to pay $11,255 ahead of the Super Bowl for the incident while his opponent will get to hang on to his money.
