Michigan made the top three for Olney (Md.) Good Counsel four-star linebacker Aaron Chiles, along with Florida and Maryland.
Chiles is the No. 103 overall prospect and No. 7 linebacker in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 2 player in Maryland.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Chiles holds nearly three-dozen Power Five offers.
The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Michigan as the heavy favorite to land Chiles, giving the Wolverines a 93.6 percent chance of securing his commitment. He currently has official visits scheduled with the Wolverines and Gators, with Florida set to host him June 9 and Michigan bringing him to town the weekend of June 23.

College Basketball Report points out just how incredible former Michigan head basketball coach John Beilein’s stretch of success was:
Michigan head football coach Jim Harbaugh tells Sports Illustrated that he’d be a lawn mower if not a football coach.
From Pat Forde:
The logical question to ask was this: If Harbaugh hadn’t gone to Michigan and become a famous football player and coach, what skilled trade would he have undertaken?
“A lawnsman!” Harbaugh enthusiastically responds. “That’s what I do. Mowing the lawn is one of the great feelings I have in life.”
If a list existed of the richest Americans who still cut their own grass, Harbaugh might be on it. He made $10 million in 2022, according to reports, but says he’s still out there tending to his own yard.
“It accomplishes three things,” Harbaugh says. “I’m clearing my mind or thinking of new plays; I feel good about what I accomplish; and I either make money or I save money.”
