New York Jets fans break out ‘sell the team’ chants at MetLife during TNF
It’s been a disastrous season for the New York Jets. And they mortgaged their entire franchise on quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Unfortunately for their fans, their team was once again making mind-blowingly bad mistakes on Thursday Night Football against the Houston Texans. And as you might imagine, Jets fans did not hesitate to let their players know about it.
Chants of “Sell the team!” broke out in MetLife Stadium near the end of the first half.
The Jets had less than 40 passing yards at halftime. It’s hard to blame their fan base for the horrible football they’ve been subjected to. Especially with the amount of talent they have on the roster.
New York finally got on the scoreboard with a one-handed 21-yard touchdown catch from Garrett Wilson. They tied it up 7-7 with 9:03 remaining in the third quarter.
