New USC Prediction Submitted for Elite Local Player
On February 20, one of the top running back prospects in the 2026 cycle Deshonne Redeaux announced he was down to schools.
The Los Angeles Oaks Christian four-star RB told On3’s Hayes Fawcett that Georgia, Michigan, Oregon, UCLA, USC and Washington were his top programs.
He’s already visited each school among his top six, many multiple times, but none more than the University of Southern California. Redeaux is listed as taking seven visits to USC, but it’s been a few more times than that. His last visit came at a star-studded February 1 USC recruiting event.
We’ve had several opportunities to talk with Redeaux about USC the past year or so and knew his interest was high, but it was high with other schools as well. He’s been on our most likely to commit to USC list for a while now. On Monday, we submitted a prediction for the Trojans. Steve Wiltfong had submitted a USC prediction a while back.
Redeaux is the No. 115 overall prospect and No. 12 RB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 14 player in California.
2026 USC recruiting class ranked No. 1
As of March 10, USC owns the No. 1 2026 recruiting class ranking per the On3 Industry Rankings.
The 11 committed players for the Trojans are John Fifita, Simote Katonaga, Jonas Williams, Xavier Griffin, RJ Sermons, Brandon Lockhart, Braeden Jones, Madden Riordan, Joshua Holland, Shahn Alston, Andrew Williams and Ja’Myron “Tron” Baker.
While this could change tomorrow, next week or next month, as of now we believe the most likely 2026 USC targets to commit next are Vlad Dyakonov, Deshonne Redeaux, Khary Wilder, Trent Mosley, Malakia Lee and Sam Utu. WeAreSC will update this list each month as appropriate.
