New RPM Prediction: Georgia OL to Auburn

It is my opinion that Auburn is in great standing with Parker Pritchett, a three-star offensive lineman from Seale (Ala.) Carver Columbus. I have added an RPM prediction with 60 percent confidence for Auburn to land him in the future.

Pritchett, who started his career at Russell County (Ala.) before transferring, is a priority offensive line target for the Tigers. He recently visited Auburn for Junior Day and received an in-person visit from Jake Thornton. He has now scheduled an official visit with Auburn for May 30. As of right now, I do not expect a quick commitment from Pritchett, but I am currently projecting him to land with Auburn.

Pritchett has also scheduled official visits with Texas A&M (June 5), Mississippi State (June 13), and is planning to schedule one with Georgia.

Two strengths

— Firstly, Pritchett has reshaped his body since his sophomore year of football. He has cut down to 305 pounds and moves better on film. For such a big guy, Pritchett moves effortlessly when in space. He’s a strong athlete and has benefitted from trimming down.

— Pritchett has a great combination and being able to move well, plus, being a masher in the run game. He has several pancakes on film when engaging with defenders. He knows how to drive his feet and create movement off of the line of scrimmage extremely well.

One area for improvement

— Effort is not an issue for Pritchett. He sometimes loses control going for the big hit on defenders in space. His body control is good, but still has some improvement for the next level. Being under control will be a point of emphasis this offseason. He can win even more consistently if he snaps out of his hips harder as well.
