New On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine pick for Ole Miss

Ole Miss, Lane Kiffin and defensive coordinator Pete Golding have put together quite the defensive class in the 2024 cycle. Furthermore, defensive line coach Randall Joyner has one of the saltiest group of senior commits on the defensive line. Could it be adding another blue chip?
Mill Creek (Ga.) EDGE KingJoseph Edwards is fresh off a trip to Oxford, Miss., for the Rebels’ 48-23 win over Georgia Tech. He had ample opportunities to meet with the coaching staff, soak in the atmosphere inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium and check out campus and the town.
Now he turns his attention to a Top 3 of Ole Miss, Colorado and Florida State. He’s already been to Ole Miss and Florida State. A trip to Boulder is potentially in the works, but he is also wanting to make a decision “next month”. Me thinks one school has put themselves in the driver’s seat and I am prepared to make a prediction.
I have entered an Ole Miss commitment prediction for Edwards with a 65 percent confidence level. Sources tell OMSpirit the Seminoles have been prioritizing recruiting efforts elsewhere lately and despite the interest from Colorado, he has yet to travel to check out Deion Sanders’ program.
KingJoseph Edwards talked about his relationship with each Ole Miss coach.
Golding has already secured commitments from the likes of Kamarion Franklin, Kamron Beavers and Jeffery Rush. Edwards is next on his board. The Georgia prospect talks about his conversation with the Rebels defensive coordinator and his sales pitch.
“He told me I was blessed with lots of opportunities but to make sure the college I choose has all that I’m looking for and he’d love to have me.”
Joyner has been a key cog for Lane Kiffin‘s staff during his time in Oxford. The young, up-and-comer is known for being a tactician and a coach who can get the most out of his players with passion.
“He wanted to know what I wanted to work on and told me whatever it was he’d help me accomplish it through mentorship and building a relationship.”

On3’s Charles Power got a chance to see KingJoseph Edwards up close at the Under Armour Next Camp in Atlanta.
“He earned the nod as On3 MVP after putting together the most complete day from start to finish,” Power said. “The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder impressed in with quick, explosive movements in footwork drills. When the bags came out, he promptly showed off active and violent hands.
“Those skills crossed over to the 1-on-1 portion of the day where Edwards put together a number of impressive wins against offensive tackles,” Power said. “He won his first rep with a quick first step and high-level inside move. He also showed some speed to power and pop on contact in following reps. Edwards was also singled out as a standout performer.”
If Ole Miss lands KingJoseph Edwards, the 2024 defensive line class is Tier 1.

Joyner and Ole Miss have put together a group of prospects which is very balanced. There is a ton of size and power with Beavers, Franklin and Echoles. And there’s elite athleticism and quickness with Rush, Clark and Davis. Edwards brings a little of both at 6-foot-4, 230 pounds. He can beat you with speed off the edge and he can swim inside and win one-on-ones with a quick punch and leverage.
