New On3 Predictions in for 2024 Texas running back to land at USC

2024 McKinney (Texas) three-star running back Bryan Jackson is scheduled to announce his commitment in just five days, Friday, April 21. He is set to choose from his top five of USC, Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Baylor.

In anticipation of his decision, both I and Scott Schrader have logged On3 Predictions in favor of USC landing a commitment from Jackson.

Jackson is the No. 501 overall prospect and No. 45 running back in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 89 player in Texas. 

Landing Jackson would add to Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans success in Texas, especially at the running back position. USC landed four-stars Quinten Joyner and A’Marion Peterson in the 2023 cycle.

USC is also in a good spot with 2024’s No. 2 running back Taylor Tatum, who visited this weekend for the spring game and will also return for an official visit in June.

Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM)

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, USC has a commanding lead thanks to the two On3 predictions. The Trojans currently sit at 91.1% odds to land the Texan.

Jackson has visited USC four separate times and will is scheduled to be back June 17 for an official visit.

On3 NIL Valuation

Jackson has an On3 NIL Valuation of $14.2K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

USC’s 2024 class

To date, USC only holds one commitment in the 2024 class, Lake Oswego (Ore.) Lakeridge four-star tight end Joey Olsen.

The Trojans are not currently ranked in the 2024 On3 Consensus Rankings.
