New Mexico State trolls Texas A&M following 4-1 win in College Station

New Mexico State still lost this weekend’s series at No. 14 Texas A&M. Still, after avoiding the sweep by winning on Sunday, they had some Aggie-on-Aggie crime online.

Following their 4-1 win today at Blue Bell Park, New Mexico State tweeted out the final score. That post came with a nod at A&M, as well as the Southeastern Conference, on their way out of College Station.

The weekend wasn’t too much of a loss for Texas A&M. The Aggies still won the series at 2-1 after winning the first two games by a combined score of 26-1. That was part of a three-game win streak this week, one that is now over though, after they had lost five of six going back to the end of their weekend series two weeks ago.

Still, Texas A&M, in their first season under Michael Earley, is just 9-6 overall so far this season. Of those losses, four of them have now come on their own home field in Aggieland.
