New “Inside the Trojans’ Huddle” (Tuesday, July 5) edition: New commitments evaluations and new predictions, out-of-state recruiting success, recruiting wish list, more historical Big Ten program memories, Fourth of July explosive Trojans, and viewers’ questions and panel answers.

In Tuesday’s edition of Inside the Trojans’ Huddle, panelists Marc Kulkin, Chris Arledge, and Greg Katz give their evaluation of last week’s plethora of commitments and new predictions, analysis regarding USC’s out-of-state football commitment success, more historical Big Ten football program reflections, and viewers’ questions and panel answers.
In the first half of the Huddle, the panel goes into some depth and analysis regarding the commitments of offensive lineman Makai Saina (Arlington, Tx), corner Braylon Conley (Humble, Tx), and defensive lineman Deyvid Palepale (Landisville, Pa). The individual recruiting conversation transitions to the fact that the Trojans now have 17 commitments, and 11 of those pledges come from out-of-state recruits. It’s presently an imbalance of out-of-state recruits compared to California commitments. The panel gives its take on such an imbalance. Is it something to be alarmed over?
The first half of the Huddle continues with the panel giving their “wish list” of five uncommitted recruits they like to see the Trojans gain commitment favor. Two, of course, come from L.A., and another is from the East Coast. Concluding the first half of the Huddle, panelists give their predictions on the future commitment announcements by Mater Dei corner Zabien Brown (Sunday, July 9) and St. John Bosco linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa (Sunday, July 23).
Halftime brings some historic quick-hitting memories of three more Big Ten programs: Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Northwestern. Wisconsin has some special memories and future excitement for trips to Camp Randall Stadium, but when it comes to Minnesota and Northwestern, two of the panelists search for positives.
The second half of the Huddle takes a Fourth of July theme as it pertains to explosive Trojans on offense, defense, and special teams. Panelists are asked to name the two most explosive Trojans on offense, defense, and special teams in their lifetime of watching USC play football.
In Overtime, panelists give answers to viewers’ questions pertaining to the reality of commitments, the social standing of Reggie Bush and LenDale White, a couple of special teams questions, the De’lon Miller Texas A&M commitment, future Big Ten expansion with Notre Dame and some others.
