Nebraska will get a chance to host talented, four-star cornerback Kam Mikell
The Nebraska staff has been busy in Georgia, specifically recruiting Statesboro (Ga.). A week after picking up a 2023 walk-on from Leslie Black, the Huskers have extended multiple offers to other recruits from Statesboro, including Kam Mikell. Mikell says that the offer from Nebraska has his attention, and he’s planning a visit at some point in the future.
“The Nebraska coaches called me and offered,” Mikell said. “Coach Cooper was the coach that called me. He’s a good dude.”
Kam Mikell is planning on visiting Nebraska
There wasn’t any discussion on the phone with Nebraska last week about visiting Lincoln. Despite not talking about it with the Nebraska coaching staff, Mikell says he plans to take a trip to check out Nebraska.
“We didn’t talk about taking a visit to Nebraska yet. I will take a visit to Nebraska, but I don’t know when it will be.”
Some busy weekends are coming up for Kam Mikell
Mikell will be on the road taking visits in three of the following four weekends. He already knows that he will visit one school this fall for a game day weekend, and he is curious if Nebraska is a school he will see in the summer or the fall.
“I already have a couple of visits set up,” Mikell said. “This Friday I will be visiting Georgia. I am going to Georgia Tech on June 2nd, South Carolina on June 9th, and will visit Kentucky during the season.
With the month of June filling up and already one school he knows being a visit in the fall, the question is if Mikell plans to visit Nebraska in the summer or in the fall.
“I just don’t know when it will be yet because of my upcoming trips. I haven’t decided if the visit will be this summer or this season.”
