Nebraska Spring Football Observations: April 11
Nebraska opened up roughly the first 40-50 minutes of practice to the media on Tuesday morning. Here are some of our biggest takeaways and observations from our latest live look at the 2023 Huskers…
***Running back Ajay Allen was in green no-contact jersey. He was in yellow last week. Quarterback Casey Thompson remains out in a yellow jersey.
***Brodie Tagaloa was fully working with the defensive line. He’d been in a green jersey.
***Isaiah Garcia-Castaneda, Billy Kemp, Zavier Betts, and Elliott Brown were the returners during full Nebraska’s full punt team work.
***Defensive back Omar Brown and offensive linemen Ben Scott, Teddy Prochazka, and Ezra Miller were also practicing in green jerseys.
***Javier Morton and Jalil Martin are still practicing in a gray two-way jerseys.
***Several Nebraska recruits were in attendance on Tuesday:
2023 Omaha Westside kicker signee Tristan Alvano
2023 Lincoln East WR signee Malachi Coleman. He was there at all four of our viewing opportunities this spring.
2024 Lincoln Southeast OL Cooper Johnson
2024 Norfolk ATH Rowdy Bauer. One of the state leaders in the long jump (23-6).
2024 Elkhorn South DL Ashton Murphy. He holds a Husker offer.
