Nebraska remains a top school for four-star WR Emmanuel Choice following OV
Emmanuel Choice was supposed to visit Nebraska last year but couldn’t make it. He was in Lincoln this weekend for an official visit. The 6-foot-4 and 190-pound Choice from Lancaster (Texas) had a great weekend trip to see Nebraska. He came away impressed with the play of the offense in the spring game and the facilities at Nebraska.
“It went well,” Choice said. “I got a chance to see the spring game and saw the freshman quarterback. Nebraska for sure has some of the best facilities in the country.”
Choice couldn’t believe how well true freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola played. He noted that the younger players made an impact in the game because he wants to have a chance to contribute early in his career.
“I watched Dylan throw the ball around effortlessly, and all of the receivers were making plays in the game,” Choice said. “One of my goals is to come in and impact a program. Seeing what those younger guys are doing, I can go in there and do that with a quarterback that can get me the ball.”
2025 WR Emmanuel Choice on visit to Nebraska
Nebraska assistant coach Garret McGuire is leading the recruiting efforts for Nebraska with Choice. He says things are great with his position coach and recruiting point of contact.
“I feel like we have a great relationship,” Choice said. “And we are continuing to build on it, we are good on that end.”
Emmanuel Choice considers Nebraska one of his top schools
Choice had difficulty naming one thing that was the best about his visit to Nebraska. He said he could categorize it, and the first thing he mentioned was Husker Nation.
“Their fans were live,” Choice said. “30 minutes before kickoff for the spring game and it was almost full. From last year to this year, there is a big change in the Nebraska offense having quarterbacks to get receivers the ball and make plays.”
Nebraska is the first of four official visits that Choice has scheduled. His next OV is at the end of May, and he says he wants to decide by the end of July.
“Nebraska has been a top school for me,” Choice said. “That’s why I took an OV and I needed to get there and see more. They are still one of my top schools.
“I am going to USC on May 31st, TCU on June 14th, and Oklahoma on June 21st. The weekend of June 9th, that one is still in process. I don’t know where I am going to go that weekend.”
