Nebraska Recruiting: Weekly Recap (5/14)
There are over 30 new offers that were extended last week. Nebraska is still establishing a strong presence in the state of Texas, south Florida, Georgia, and also into Illinois. There was also plenty of other relevant recruiting news last week to know. Here is your weekly recap.

Other recruiting news
One of Nebraska’s top offensive tackle prospects, Kaedin Massey from Lyndon (Kans.) announced that the Huskers did make his top six.
Former Omaha (Neb.) Skutt standout Barrett Liebentritt announced his transfer from Notre Dame to return home to Nebraska to play fullback for the Huskers.
Top Nebraska wide receiver prospect, Gatlin Bair from Burley (Idaho) keeps going faster. He has been sub-10.2 multiple times this spring. Earlier this week, he ran 10.15.
Despite the offer from Nebraska to Omaha (Neb.) West athlete Teddy Rezac, he committed to Notre Dame. Rezac was the ninth offer to an in-state recruit.
Nebraska made the top 10 for Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei defensive lineman Aydin Breland. Breland visited Lincoln for the spring game in April.
Carter Nelson is headed to state track. He stopped at 6-1 in the high jump which is an automatic qualifying mark. He also PR’d in pole vault going 14-1. Nelson also threw the discus 162-11.
Let’s keep it on track for one last one. Ashton Murphy qualified for state with a new PR in the shot put.
