Nebraska offers 2025 QB Alex Manske following camp performance in Lincoln

Nebraska has been rewarding great efforts during their summer camps. The staff has offered a number of players, 2024 and underclassmen, including a 2025 quarterback. Alex Manske from Algona (Iowa) picked up an offer from Matt Rhule and his staff on Sunday for the border state junior.

“I thought the camp was awesome,” Manske said. “I thought I was throwing it well, and everything we did there was a lot of fun.

“Working with the staff was awesome every coach was really nice and they were really fun to work with. I worked with coach Adam DiMichele a lot and also coach Satterfield a lot too.”

Camp moved to tour and offer from Nebraska for Alex Manske

Once Manske finished up on the field, he was invited to take a tour. He suspects Nebraska did their homework very quickly on him, and after they wrapped up, the Nebraska staff had enough confidence to extend Manske an offer.

“I went on the tour of the stadium and stuff after camp, and I think when I was doing that, coach satterfield and coach Rhule watched my tape from the camp and my high school tape and they decided to offer off of that.

“Coach Matt Rhule was the one who offered me officially. Coach Christian Ellsworth, coach DiMichele, and coach Satterfield were all the in the same room when coach Rhule told me the news. I was very excited and very happy and all the rest of the staff was congratulating me and everything so it was really cool.”

It will be a busy summer for Manske. He has four more camps to go attend this summer. Also, if history repeats itself, expect Manske to make the rounds this fall and get to some games. That is likely the next time Nebraska will have a chance to host Manske.

“I have four more camps to go to,” Manske said. “They’re Iowa, Kansas State, Missouri, and Minnesota. I’ve visited Iowa State, Iowa, Tennessee, Kansas State, and Wisconsin on game days during the fall.”
