Nebraska could host talented 2025 WR Emmanuel Choice from Texas this fall for a game day visit

Lancaster (Texas) will be a team to watch this fall who has a chance to win it all. One of the main reasons they will be a contender is junior wide receiver Emmanuel Choice is poised to have a breakout season. He has lofty goals, but he has the tools. The 6-foot-4 and 200-pound Choice is coming off of an injury but is cleared and ready to go for the state of the season.
It’s been hot in Texas this summer, but Choice isn’t complaining. He’s been having a great fall camp and trying to improve every time he’s on the field. He wants to help his team play 16 games and play for a state title.
“Fall camp is going amazing,” Choice said. “I am going out there, making plays every day. We are competing and just trying to get better every day.
“I just want to contribute to the team. We are really trying to win a state championship this season, and I want to go out and make some big plays.”
WR Emmanuel Choice makes a tough catch in the red zone
Choice is back just in time to be a factor for Lancaster. He suffered a minor fracture of his clavicle. He has recently been cleared to play and for contact.
“I had a collarbone injury, so I am just coming back from that, trying to build more muscle. Track helped me a lot in the spring going into the summer. I feel like I got faster.”
Nebraska offered Choice earlier this spring. Choice has been staying in touch with his position coach and is getting some additional attention from the recruiting office staff.
“Nebraska offered me, and I am communicating with them. I am talking to coach Garret McGuire and some of the coaches in the recruiting office.”
Plans to visit Nebraska this summer fell through for Emmanuel Choice
There were plans for Choice to visit Nebraska in June, when his teammate Kewan Lacy took his official visit to Lincoln. Choice got hurt, and things changed. The Nebraska staff wants to get Choice up this fall for a game.
“I tried to get up there in the spring, but then I got hurt,” Choice said. “Nebraska hit me up and wants me to come to a game. If I can make it, I am going to get up there for a visit.
“I went to Houston at the end of July for a Bar-B-Q, and I would like to get back there in the fall. Other than that, I really don’t know. I am still trying to figure all of that out.”
Choice feels like he has something to prove this fall and is shooting for a 1,000 yards receiving campaign as a junior.
