NC State, Notre Dame significantly delayed in overtime after medical emergency in stands

On Sunday, No. 1 Notre Dame and No. 13 NC State had nearly a 10-minute break between the end of regulation and overtime due to a medical emergency in the stands. The broadcast briefly showed the emergency, which occurred in the upper deck of Reynolds Coliseum.

Several medical personnel members could be seen administering care to the person suffering the emergency. At the time of this report, no update has been provided about the person who needed medical attention.
