NC State football recruiting class of 2024 updated hot board: Offensive line
NC State football recruiting under head coach Dave Doeren always tends to emphasize recruiting offensive linemen. With a new position coach in Garett Tujague in Raleigh, that will continue to be the case for the upcoming seniors.
Here is a rundown of known offers thus far out towards offensive linemen in the 2024 class.
On3 Industry three-star Gemyel Allen
Lawrenceville (Ga.) Mountain View
On3 Industry Recruiting ranking: No. 66 interior offensive lineman in country and No. 95 player in Georgia
On3 NIL Valuation: $17.6K
High School NIL ranking: 2,087
On3 RPM: Georgia Tech – 25.1%; South Carolina – 21.9%; Mississippi State – 18.8%; Virginia – 15.7%
The skinny: On Feb. 14, Gemyel Allen released a top five that included NC State, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Duke and Virginia. Since then he has added an offer from Mississippi State, where he visited last fall.
In January, Allen made trips to Virginia and Georgia Tech. He has yet to trip to NC State. He has lined up an official visit to Virginia for June 2.
On3 Industry three-star Robert Bourdon
Collierville (Tenn.) High
On3 Industry Recruiting ranking: No. 40 offensive tackle in country and No. 17 player in Tennessee

High School NIL ranking: 2,059
On3 RPM: Ole Miss – 30.8%; Vanderbilt – 26.9%; Florida State – 12.1%
The skinny: Robert Bourdon has seen a steady rise in his stock, with NC State being one of a baker’s dozen offers. In January, Bourdon made trips to Duke and Vanderbilt, picking up an offer from the latter during the trip. That was Bourdon’s second visit to Vandy.
He also took in games at TCU and Ole Miss in the fall, and was back at the latter earlier this month. He also went to FSU in March.

High School NIL ranking: 368
On3 RPM: Penn State – 39.7%; Texas – 34.7%; Rutgers – 8.0%; Florida – 6.7%
The skinny: The massive Nyier Daniels (6-foot-7.5, 371 pounds) also has a massive offer list that includes half of the current schools in the SEC. However, Penn State is favored on the strength of at least four trips there, including one in January. Daniels though has lined up an official visit to Texas.

High School NIL ranking: 1,259
On3 RPM: Michigan – 89.3%; Florida – 4.3%; NC State – 2.2%
The skinny: There was a time last summer where NC State seemed to emerge as the leader for Jake Guarnera, and the Wolfpack still remains a prime contender as evident by Guarnera returning to Raleigh for an unofficial visit in January. That was his sixth visit to Raleigh. NC State also has made Guarnera’s top five.
However, Guarnera’s stock has steadily risen among colleges, and a change of offensive line coaches in Raleigh may have helped other schoolsHe has been to see the Gators seven times and lined up an official visit for June 24. However, Michigan may have emerged as a favorite with two predictions logged for the Wolverines.
His commitment is scheduled for Friday afternoon.

On3 Industry Recruiting ranking: No. 113 interior offensive lineman in country and No. 40 player in Louisiana

High School NIL ranking: 4,852
On3 RPM: Georgia Tech – 19.5%; Kansas State – 13.0%; Miami – 10.29%
The skinny: Ashton Helaire reported an offer from NC State last summer, but after a coaching change at the offensive line position for the Wolfpack, where Helaire falls on the NC State football recruiting board now remains to be seen.

Huntington (W.Va.) Huntington
On3 Industry Recruiting ranking: No. 30 interior offensive lineman in country and No. 1 player in West Virginia

High School NIL ranking: 1,299
On3 RPM: West Virginia – 36.1%; NC State – 13.0%; Penn State – 11.1%
The skinny: NC State hosted Robby Martin for an unofficial visit last June shortly after giving him a scholarship. He returned in April to watch a spring practice.
However, Martin has been to nearby West Virginia on at least five occasions and has taken a pair of trips to Penn State, both of whom has also offered. Martin also visited Virginia Tech and Duke in April.

On3 Industry Recruiting ranking: No. 43 offensive tackle in country and No. 75 player in Georgia

High School NIL ranking: 1,989
On3 RPM: LSU – 93.2%; Georgia Tech – 2.8%; Florida – 1.2%
The skinny: In a story on On3, Marcus Mascoll hinted that a top three of NC State, Georgia Tech and LSU may be forming.
Mascoll visited all three of those programs in April, but LSU may be emerging as a strong favorite. One prediction has been logged for the Tigers.
Trent Mitchell
Gastonia (N.C.) Ashbrook

On3 RPM: Virginia Tech – 34.4%; NC State – 30.1%; West Virginia – 25.8%
The skinny: The intriguing 6-foot-6, 290-pound Trent Mitchell is one of the newest names on the NC State football recruiting offer board, but he is not a new name to the Wolfpack. Mitchell visited for a junior day in January.
He took a trip to WVU in March and then for the Virginia Tech spring game in April. Maryland has also offered.

On3 RPM: Florida – 36.9%; Central Florida – 20.3%; Florida State – 8.7%; Miami – 6.0%
The skinny: Eddy Pierre-Louis is a long-time member of the NC State football recruiting board, but he also possesses a who’s who offer list. He has been to Florida at least eight times and to nearby UCF on a minimum of five occasions.

Jacksonville (Fla.) Andrew Jackson
On3 Industry Recruiting ranking: No. 71 offensive tackle in country and No. 127 player in Florida

High School NIL ranking: 1,994
On3 RPM: NC State – 40.1%; Miami – 23.6%; Wake Forest – 10.4%
The skinny: On Jan. 19, Deryc Plazz joined the NC State football recruiting board, and at the time the Pack was his lone Power Five offer. That following weekend, Plazz visited both Wake Forest (who offered) and NC State.
However, now Plazz has 15 Power Five offers. He returned to NC State in April and has set up an official visit for June 23. A week prior, Plazz will be doing an OV at Miami, where he also took a trip to in March.

On3 Industry Recruiting ranking: No. 31 interior offensive lineman in country and No. 53 player in Georgia

High School NIL ranking: 1,833
On3 RPM: Clemson – 88.7%; Georgia Tech – 2.5%
The skinny: Jameson Riggs is another long-time member of the NC State football recruiting board, but he has yet to visit Raleigh, including in November when he made swings to nearby Duke and UNC. Four trips to Clemson, including in late-January, has the Tigers perceived as the favorite. A prediction has been logged for CU.

On3 Industry Recruiting ranking: No. 53 interior offensive lineman in country and No. 32 player in Alabama

High School NIL ranking: 2,974
On3 RPM: Vanderbilt – 27.4%; Missouri – 24.0%; Central Florida – 20.6%; NC State – 17.1%
The skinny: Currently, Vanderbilt is favored on William Sanders‘ RPM after he made an unofficial visit to Nashville in January. However, Sanders made a trip to NC State in March.
Sanders, who boasts six Power Five offers, may be waiting to see if an Alabama offer comes. He has visited Tuscaloosa three times, including in April.

The skinny: In November, Fletcher Westphal released a top 10 that did not include NC State. But after Tujague’s arrival, the Pack appears to be getting a look now from the touted prospect. He unofficially visited for the spring game, part of a busy spring with 12 visits for Westphal.
