Charlotte Motor Speedway was going to be the site of Saturday’s Xfinity Series race but there was always going to be a battle with the weather. The race was originally moved up in order to beat out the rain but there was no such luck. Now, the event has been postponed.
NASCAR announced the Xfinity Series race has been moved to Monday, beginning at noon ET. Broadcast information was provided as well, with fans still being able to enjoy the race over the Memorial Day Weekend holiday.
“The NASCAR Xfinity Series Race has been postponed until Monday at noon ET, broadcast live on FS1, PRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio,” the release said via Daniel McFadin of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
NASCAR had a huge weekend planned, with the Coca-Cola 600 taking place on Sunday night. The Xfinity Series race was planned to be just the beginning for fans in attendance. Now, they will have to wait an extra couple of days.
