NASCAR Cup points updated after massive Chase Briscoe Daytona 500 penalty

The NASCAR Cup Series points standings have changed after the governing body penalized Chase Briscoe. With the No. 19 team getting dock 100 points, Briscoe now has -67 points and 89 points behind 16th in the standings (the playoff cutoff).
Briscoe and his team were penalized for modifcations to the car’s spoiler at the Daytona 500. Crew chief James Small is suspended for the next four races, team was fined $10,000 and lost 10 playoff points. Here’s look at the updated playoff standings.
