Mississippi State transfer WR Justin Robinson commits to West Virginia
Former Mississippi State wide receiver Justin Robinson committed to West Virginia, he announced on Twitter.
Originally starting his career at Georgia, Robinson left after two seasons with the program to join Mississippi State. After not playing in 2020, he appeared in eight games for UGA the next season.
Once he joined Mississippi State, his production went up. In 31 career games over the last three seasons, Robinson has 53 catches for 601 yards, four touchdowns and 11.3 yards per catch.
As a member of the Class of 2020, Robinson was a four-star recruit out of McDonough (Ga.) Eagle’s Landing Christian, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 37 overall prospect in the state, the No. 69 wide receiver in the class and the No. 360 overall prospect in the class.
