Mike Tomlin reveals details about Aaron Rodgers’ meeting with Steelers, shares update on timeline

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin shared updates about his recent meeting with Aaron Rodgers. While speaking to reporters on Sunday, Tomlin said the team had a “really good day” with the Super Bowl champion quarterback when he visited the Steelers, according to Brook Pryor of ESPN. Rodgers left without a contract, and Tomlin was asked if there’s deadline for the Steelers to sign him.
“Not to my knowledge,” he said, per Mike DeFabo of The Athletic. “You know, I don’t know that we’ve approached it from a deadline perspective. Certainly, as I mentioned, you’d like to have settled circumstances. But, you know, deadlines don’t often bring that to a head.”
We’ll have more on this story shortly.
