Michigan ties program record for made three-pointers vs. Western Kentucky

The Michigan Wolverines throttled the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on Sunday night. They rolled to a 112-64 beatdown in historic fashion at the Crisler Center. They torched the nets from beyond-the-arc and tied the program record for the most made threes in a single-game. Once the smoke had cleared, Dusty May’s squad had drilled 19 shots from beyond-the-arc. Michigan hit 19 of their 40 three-point attempts, shooting 47.5% from deep.

Western Kentucky on the other hand, just hit 5 of 25 shots from deep (20.0%). The 112 points scored on Sunday night against WKU are the most points for Michigan in a game since scoring 112 in 1998. The Wolverines had 103 points with 6:05 left, before emptying their bench. Michigan’s all-time record for points in a game is 128, and that came against Purdue in 1966.
