Michigan EDGE Kechaun Bennett enters NCAA transfer portal

Michigan Wolverines football EDGE Kechaun Bennett has entered the NCAA transfer portal after four seasons in Ann Arbor. Bennett has one year of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot-4, 257-pounder played in 28 games over four years at Michigan, mostly seeing action on special teams. He totaled 6 tackles in his career and had a blocked punt against Minnesota in 2024.
A Suffield (Conn.) Academy product, Bennett was a three-star recruit and the nation’s No. 445 overall recruit in the 2021 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. He checked in as the No. 45 EDGE in the the nation and No. 2 player in Connecticut.
